A village, not a service.

"Someone says: I know exactly who to introduce you to. You meet them. Something clicks. You think: I could do so many extraordinary things with this person. That is what Elo House is."

Work through the day in good company - heads down when you need it, and someone worth thinking out loud with when you don't. Morning yoga, talks, suppers and workshops in the evening, and regular events the whole family can come to.

There are local partnerships for the routine things, and a members' book of everything worth knowing in Lisbon.

It's been built with the modern family in mind: the hours, the food and the little things that make a week easier.

The favours go both ways, which is what makes it a village rather than a service.

Elo means link. The single connection that holds the chain together - work, family and friends in one place instead of three.

Leaving is the only thing that doesn't come easily.

The village you didn't know you were missing.

I

You are known

The community manager knows you. What you're building, what you're curious about, who you need to meet. That knowledge works for you quietly, all week.

II

The evenings, and the weekends

Talks, suppers and workshops after hours, and regular events the whole family can come to. One calendar for the whole of your life, not the professional half of it.

III

The routine things, handled

Local partnerships for the things that eat the week, and a members' book of everything worth knowing in Lisbon, kept by the people who found it first.

IV

Hours that suit a real week

The morning starts gently. Yoga in the Studio, coffee with whoever's in, then a room to work in that's a few minutes from home - and doors that open early and stay open into the evening.

V

Your day, intelligently planned

Book your work zone, social corner, or quiet space based on how you feel and what you want to achieve that day. Your planner, overview and personal assistant - woven into the Elo House app, so the space works around you.

VI

Your desk in the house

A whole house in Campo de Ourique - eleven rooms, each with its own mood - and a desk for you to create, work and thrive. Bookable in advance. A place to think, make and be around people who are doing the same.

Questions people ask before they arrive.

What is Elo House?

Elo House is a members' space in Campo de Ourique, Lisbon. Eleven rooms to flow through your day, morning yoga, a programme of talks, workshops and suppers in the evening, regular events the whole family can come to, local partnerships for the routine things and a members' book of everything worth knowing in Lisbon. Come for a day or let it be part of your week.

Is Elo House a coworking space?

Work is at the core of it, but Elo House is a village rather than a coworking space. Members get eleven different rooms - focused work zones, meeting rooms, social lounges and event spaces - plus a weekly rhythm built around the hours that make a week work, evening talks, suppers and workshops, regular events the whole family can come to, local partnerships for the routine things, and personal introductions.

Who is Elo House for?

Everyone building something who would rather spend the working day in good company than alone at a kitchen table. It's been built with the modern family in mind - the hours, the food and the little things that make a week easier - but you don't need a family to belong here. The favours go both ways, which is what makes it a village rather than a service.

Where is Elo House in Lisbon?

Elo House is in Campo de Ourique, one of Lisbon's most charming residential neighbourhoods. Known for its village-within-a-city feel, the Mercado de Campo de Ourique and its walkable streets, it's the kind of neighbourhood people choose on purpose. Close enough to home to make the day work.

How much does membership cost?

Resident membership is €400/month including VAT - the House five days a week, the weekly rhythm, the Elo app, curated events and the village in full. Neighbour membership is €185/month for eight days a month, taken however the month falls, plus Social Grounds on Tuesdays. The Village is €85/month for the community without the desk - the full events programme, two day passes every month and member pricing on all events. Founding membership is by invitation only, with a rate locked for life. See all membership tiers.

Can I visit Elo House before joining?

Yes. You can express interest in visiting the space or attending an event as a guest. We'll arrange a personal introduction to the House and the community. Express your interest here.

What events does Elo House run?

Every week includes rituals like Morning Pages (journaling), Social Grounds (community breakfast), Friday Pour (end-of-week drinks), office hours with experts, morning yoga and wellness sessions, and member-led talks. In the evenings there are talks, suppers and workshops, and through the year there are regular events the whole family can come to. See the full calendar.

Is Elo House family friendly?

Yes - and it's open to everyone. The House runs regular gatherings the whole family can come to, and the hours, the food and the little things are set up to make a week easier. Outside those events, the rooms keep the calm of a working day. Work, family, friends - one life, not three.

I just moved to Campo de Ourique - how do I find community?

Arriving somewhere new is exciting - and finding your people is the hardest part. Elo House exists precisely for this. Instead of scattered meetups and anonymous coworking desks, you get a room of neighbours, introductions made by someone who knows both of you, local partnerships for the routine things and a members' book of everything worth knowing in Lisbon. Start here.

How is Elo House different from other coworking spaces in Lisbon?

Most coworking spaces in Lisbon sell desks. Elo House is a village. The membership is capped so everyone is known by name. The day is built around the hours that make a week work rather than against them. The evenings belong to talks, suppers and workshops, there are regular events the whole family can come to, and the favours go both ways. The space - eleven rooms in a house in Campo de Ourique - feels nothing like an open-plan office.
